SIJIJIU  FLOWER  WINE

Packaging Design | Brand Identity

This wine is intended to convey the Chinese culture of making wine with flowers and introduce more varieties of flower wine to the market.

The hope is to enable customers not only to smell but taste and feel the beauty of the seasons.

Flowers have many beautiful meanings not only in China but also in the whole world. So I also want to convey blessings with this flower wine.

INSPIRATION

In daily life, the Chinese people's use of flowers is meticulous and pervasive. Historical records show that the ancients combined fresh flowers with aloe wood and spices to create floral wines and teas.

Over time, many floral wines, which are mildly sweet and suitable for all ages, have also appeared on the Chinese market.

CONCEPT

This wine embodies the essence of the four seasons, allowing one to not only experience but also taste the beauty of seasons.

Each season's flavor corresponds to the blooming cycle of flowers: peach blossom wine for spring, rose wine for summer, osmanthus wine for autumn, and chrysanthemum wine for winter.

LOGO | COLOR

The logo design utilizes a thin font to convey the brand's elegant and classical tone, while the clean strokes and sans-serif typeface also reflect modern characteristics. The clever integration of both Chinese and English makes it well-suited for the international market.

The colors are determined based on the feel of each season and the colors of different flowers.

DESIGN PROCESS

My thoughts on the visual presentation and the materials used.

LABELS

The main visual on the front label features the characters for "Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter" written in calligraphy, directly conveying a sense of traditional Chinese culture.

The back label not only tells the story of the brand but also highlights the unique health benefits of each different floral wine.

SEED INFUSED TAG

To extend the brand's concept of environmental sustainability, I chose seed-infused paper for the labels. This allows consumers to plant the labels at home, growing flowers.

This concept further enables consumers to experience the beauty of the seasons through planting, thereby reinforcing the brand's philosophy.

FINAL PRODUCT

After thorough research, to ensure the product evokes a dreamy feeling and makes consumers feel immersed in a field of flowers, I chose to use chromatic technology for the front label.

For the back label, I utilized double-sided printing technology, allowing the flower images to be visible through the wine in the bottle. As the wine flows, the flowers inside also exhibit a dynamic effect.
